A Different Kind of Reunion....

This past weekend was a reunion unlike any other I've attended:

Tying the tie using iPhone
Annie (b&w) Nate, Joyce
Eric Mike & Heather Wedding (cup)cake
Finale!

What a wonderful ride it has been with both of them.

I've tackled engineering classes with him.
I've grown in the same small group with her.
I've learned what it means to be myself and have fun from him.
I've learned kindness from her. (and to smile!)
I've enjoyed out-of-town trips with them.
I've shared space to lead, create, engage, and worship with them.
I've saw another dimension of God's love through them.

I can only hope that the good times may continue with them as one.

Married Friends (b&w)

Many of God's blessings for you both and a long fulfilling future ahead.

The Dark Knight

I just flew in from New York City last night and the first thing I wanted to do when I got back (besides sleep) was see the film everyone is talking about.

Heath Ledger truly became the Joker and nearly steals the show from the rest of the cast (their acting is really good too).

A great crime noir with such an engaging storyline and action-packed throughout the whole 2.5 hours.

That being said, I'll never forget this movie.

Have you seen it yet?

10 Grand

10,000! 10K!

Just passed ten thousand visits on this blog.
For some of you, that constitutes a month or a week of blog traffic (*cough* Los *cough*).
But I thought it was kind of fun.
My first two years on a new blog have been a blast.
I'm still humbled that people read this stuff.

Thanks to all those that stop by and contribute at Outstretched Arms!

Weekend of Freedom

A taste of how I spent my weekend:

Silly Shot

To put what we learned in wider perspective: Freedom brought by the Good News is not truly good news unless it reaches the poor.

Hope you all had a Happy Fourth. =) Feel free to share how you spent it.
